Tokyo Venture Capital Hub opens at Azabudai Hills

In November 2025, Tokyo Venture Capital Hub opened at Azabudai Hills in Minato Ward. It is one of Japan’s largest centers of venture capital activity and a grand opening ceremony was held to celebrate its launch. The ceremony started in the grand staircase area where the guiding principles of the hub were announced. These included a commitment to strengthen the supply of risk capital, building a community for start-up support, and collaborative policy with domestic and international hubs. This was followed by a buffet reception held in the SkyRoom on the 34th floor where around 170 participants enjoyed socializing against the backdrop of Tokyo's skyline. During the reception, the organizers also shared future plans for pitch events and work lounges, raising expectations for the hub where start ups and venture capital can connect.
The event was a reflection of the concept of Azabudai Hills – a place that connects people – and offered a peek into the future of this exciting business center. The Tokyo Venture Capital Hub is expected to become an important foundation that will elevate Tokyo as a world-class start-up hub.

Together, Go Big. Startup Innovation Summit 2022

Together, Go Big. Startup Innovation Summit 2022 was held at Roppongi's Academyhills and the Roppongi Hills Club on July 5 and 6, 2022. It is the most significant joint Japanese and Taiwanese assembly in recent years and the largest ever held in Japan.
Over 30 elite Taiwanese startups, primarily in digital transformation, attended the summit, which provided opportunities to share knowledge and information with major Japanese corporations and influencers.
Although visitors from overseas could not attend due to COVID restrictions, the relaxation of business visa restrictions made it possible for many industry representatives from Taiwan to participate in this lively event.
Many visitors enjoyed long stays in the Roppongi area both before and after the event (in accommodations such as REMM Roppongi), enjoying all that Tokyo and Roppongi have to offer.
