Event

Kyu Shiba rikyu Yakai

The Kyu Shiba Rikyu Evening Party is a light-up event held in the Kyu Shiba Rikyu Gardens that combines cutting-edge creativity and technology to bring out the unique nighttime allure of the historic Japanese garden with authentic Japanese flavor. The party has been held five times in summer and fall. Spotlights and projection mapping beautifully highlighted the trees and stone lanterns of the gardens, which have been designated as a cultural treasure. With ambient music, the event provided visitors with a new way to experience Japanese culture. There were also food stalls and seating in the gardens, where visitors could savor Japanese cuisine and sake. The artistic combination of all elements made this MICE event a harmonic blend of traditional culture and the latest technology.

Meeting

Hamamatsucho Harvest Festival — Hama-Matsuri

The Hamamatsu-cho Harvest Festa, one of the Hamamatsucho area's most prominent events, was first held on November 3 and 4, 2007, and was designated as "Cultural Broadcast Days." In 2019, the Festa celebrated its 13th year with the theme "A Great Harvest Festival of Culture and Food." Initially known as the "Green Sound Festa," the festival was rebranded as the "Harvest Festival" in 2019 to better reflect the Japanese saying that autumn stimulates the appetite. Therefore, besides offering fantastic cuisine recommended by Nippon Cultural Broadcasting radio personalities, the event also featured various food-related programs to promote "connections between people and the community" and "social and cultural exchange" through food.
